Am I considered a time homebuyer or owner session?
He bought the house two years later we married. My name never been in the mortgage or deed. I lived there for 17 years and then divorced. Until that date, file taxes jointly, but not detailed. after divorce, which kept the house. I myself was for 1 year and am looking to buy a home. Am I considered a first-time homebuyer or owner? Thanks for any reply.
You should be. Provided they were not: the act of mortgage, or apply for a mortgage interest in the eyes of the IRS, you're a FTHB.
